'Game of Thrones' series Greenlighted

Posted by Jack S. Pharaoh on Tuesday, March 2, 2010

Holy fuck, yes. I know this means nothing to almost everyone here, but I've been waiting for this since the book series was first optioned three years ago. They even released the first production still, a shot apparently from the prologue of the book. So, yes, people, deal with me starting random threads and forcing irrelevant knowledge upon you. This is how Jack does business, aggresively and in a pompous third-person. Pray I never decide to educate the lot of you about pregnancy.

I think the actress playing her is a lot more attractive without the dye job. I realize it's for the character, but I don't care for it.

Is pilverizing cutting it up into easy to swallow pill shapes?

(I had to edit this post to get your quote in there. We all know it will be corrected.)

pilverize - def: to pulverize into powder, then pack the powder together to form a pill, then consume the pill to get high. If the pilverized object is a penis (aka cock), consuming it will make you instantly gay, even if it's your own penis.

You're confusing "pilverizing" with "pillverizing."

Either spelling is acceptable.

We're not doing a very good job of making this thread's sequel feel welcome.

Maybe the new thread should have been a prequel.

I also think she looks great as a brunette. When I saw pictures of her from HBO's upfront presentation of its shows for critics back in January, I was was a little taken aback by how beautiful I thought she looked with her natural chestnut hair (I don't think for a second that Thursty finds her particularly attractive, so don't pretend that I implied that, Thursty). I also thought she filled out her jeans nicely, but it was during the first episode of the show that I could really tell for the first time that she has appropriate junk in the trunk.

Jesus, I finally got that last post to actually show up.  I tried to put a couple of pictures in it, and it the forums acted like I was trying to rape it in the ass.  My browser seemed like it wasnted to freeze or shut down just for trying to edit the post.

Jesus, no wonder it didn't want to work.  I had copied the image, then pasted it into the rich text editor.  When I switched to the plain text editor, the code for the image was like a hundred pages long.  Here's the other image I was trying to post (assuming it actually works).

Edit: I had to do the same thing to get this post to work.  Apparently copying and pasting images directly into the rich text editor doesn't work anymore.  That sucks, cause it was easier than having to hunt for the image code that this board uses.

The image code this board uses is fairly basic.  For future reference, it should look like this:

Fuck you, too, buddy. Everybody listen up: forget any notions you had about Thursty and me being friends. That ended right here because of the choices HE decided to make. This is way worse than when Jakester decided to wholesale slam all of Adam's podcast-listening preferences.

How about if Goits subjected himself to another drive-through experience at Church's Chicken? Would that make everything all better? I know it would for me. But it better not be made up, like all the rest of his life stories!

Thursty could drown in Church's chicken, and I would not lend a hand.

I'm surprised Jack managed to use the quote feature successfully.  Then again, the code required to use it is fairly basic.

Yeah, but you have to switch to the plain text editor for it to work.  Not only am I surprised, I'm pleasantly surprised.

You'll get the hang of this yet!

I recall liking Church's Chicken quite a lot when I was younger.  Unfortunately, there isn't one anywhere nearby.  Fortunately, Popeye's isn't far.  I like Popeye's.

My favorite is Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken.  It's a couple blocks farther down, though, so I don't make it out there as often.

It's not that I'm lazy, it's that I'm trying not to waste too much gas.

The more I walk, the more of it I end up giving away for free.

Plus, when you walk, you can't use the drive-through (at least not without coming off as a total douche).

He has to walk through the drive thru to come off as a total douche?
