Chuck

Are you guys watching Chuck this year (or ever)? There should have been no way that this show should have been in danger of being canceled last year. Thank goodness it got this new season because it has been a blast.

Chuck does a great job of balancing the comedy, drama, and action in every episode. Plus it has some of the most endearing (and bizarre) characters of any show on the air right now. I think that this season of Chuck is the best the show has had yet (Brandon Routh has proven to be an excellent addition to the show), and the overall plot arc is shaping up to be fairly epic.

What do you guys think?

I was really into this show the first season, but I lost it and never got back into it. Not sure how I'd like it now that Chuck is a badass superspy(I think, all I know of the show is what I see on the commercials)

He's not really a bad-ass superspy...even though he can be. Basically, he can now "flash" on action things as well as data. So if he's in a situation, the Intersect allows him to perform badass things to get out of it. However, it doesn't work very reliably when Chuck is freaking out, which happens almost all the time.

Trust me, the show is just as good as it ever was, probably better. Go catch up on the 2nd season DVD (current season is the third), it's even better than the first season. IMHO, Chuck started strong and continues to get better as it goes.

I don't. I watched some of the first season, and liked it. It kept getting bumped by other things, though, and then....just never got picked back up. It sort of makes me sad as well.

I've also missed most of this season of The Office because it conflicts w/ Supernatural and Fringe. It's on On Demand, but I've not been keeping up. I can only watch so much TV.

The 1st season of Chuck was good. The 2nd was even better, and this year has been pretty great, IMHO. Forget The Office. Chuck is much better.

I thought the second season royally sucked, so I stopped watching after that.

I just finished the fourth season, it's a great show!  It has good action, a really beautiful chick lead, and it may be one of the funniest shows of all time.  Season-one Morgan is the funniest TV-character since Charlie on It's Always Sunny.  And Jeffster! 

 

GREAT guest appearences by Routh, Scott Bakula, and Linda Hamilton.  I need to watch season 5 bad...
