B-S-FRAKKING-G!

Posted by Jakester on Friday, February 27, 2009

So, piano dude wasn't there. Kara's playing "All Along the Watchtower" and Hera's composing it.

What's it mean? Since her Dad taught it to her, I'm going with the theory that Daniel is her Daddy.

The Chief is a moron. And yet, unlike last week, I totally bought his actions.

Totally agree. It was even slower than last weeks ep, but I was complety won over. One of the best episodes of the series, goose flesh and everything.

I like all the political and relationship stuff that's been happening. There has been some great character moments the last few weeks.

However, I hope there's at least one more huge space battle left in the show. Seeing as how Cavil is still out there, I'll probably get my wish.

I'm preparing myself for a depressing, dark ending to the show. I really don't expect it to go anywhere happy at the end.

It sure feels like it.

If the Galactica herself isn't destroyed by the end of the show, then I'll be damn surprised. It seems like they've been foreshadowing it ever since the show started back up this year.

Yes they have. But they better make it go in a huge, B5 style, and not in a sorry-ass 'died of internal bleeding/old age' like some other shows of the past.

I am hoping that there's this huge battle, and Adama knows the ship is done for, so he gets everyone off the ship that he can and uses it to ram a basestar or something.

Apollo already did it with the Pegasus, but what the frak ...

Sure, but the Galactica herself deserves a big finish. Maybe they can come up with something a lot cooler than that.

Okay. Galactica turns into a giant space crocodile and eats Cavil's baseship.
Oh shit. that should have been labeled a SPOILER!

I was just thinking about the last episode on my way to work. It will truly suck if Boomer wuss out in the last episodes and decides to be a 'good girl'.

Personally, I loved to hate her ever since she shot the old man. Then she comes back and bangs Helo with his wife (half) watching, kidnaps Hera under everyone's nose, escape leaving Adama a big FY and cripling Galactica (even more).

She picked the fight. Now she must stand her ground.

did anyone else catch the old school Cylon raider on the Cylon homeworld landing platform? that was a beautiful nice touch.

I would sooner say that Adama is planning to load the Galactica with as many nukes as he can find then ram the Cylon planet and Cavil right up his asshole. That is the mother of all Cylon planets and destroying it would cripple the remaining BaseStar fleet.

Besides, Adama still has at his disposal #6's busted up basestar but first they need a planet to drop the remaining human race off while they finish off the Galactica.

And NO they'd better not "turn the lights out and detonate the ship" ala B5. Yes they destroyed the station but they just blew it up, nobody ever thought of using the Babylon 5 as a final solution weapon.

Yeah, I've seen it.

I think they might send the fleet somewhere else (not necessarily a planet, though) with some Vipers to watch over them (didn't he said something like scrapping Galactica's weapons and ammo to the fleet?), then use whatever's left of the Galactica and 'trojan horse' it (load with nukes, as you said), then run like hell to the basestar and command the remaining of their forces from there.

I didn't meant that BSG should end exactly as Babylon 5, turning the station's lights out (though they are pletty close to it), but rather with the same grandiosity. Unlike certain shows that wrapped up and vanished.

Well, I didn't mean that it would blow up exactly like B5; more that it would explode as opposed to just fall apart or be abandoned.

I also think that everything on the show is happening as someone or something planned. Anders said something amazing was going to happen. Whatever it is, this is destiny at work.

Also, Katee has hinted that there may not be a tidy resolution to Starbuck. That sort of bums me out because if we don't get some satisfying answers to how she ended up on Earth, died, and was resurrected, then she's simply Kara ex machina, and that's kinda lame.

Hell no.

I was actually kinda fearing they would not be able to tie all loose ends and now, with only 2 episodes left...

Fingers still crossed, though.
