Back in 2008 or 2009, right after the gas had gone up to $4.00 in some places, I guess the Money Men decided they had had their fun.  Gas prices started dropping ridiculously low ridiculously quickly.  It got so low people were playing gas tag at the station and squirting a couple gallons in the trash can for the hell of it.

At one point, I announced to Mal and some friends that if it dipped below a dollar, I would post a video of me fellating myself to YouTube.  It got close enough at one point that I started doing stretches.  

The prices eventually stabilized, then began to rise.  Around that time is when I started packing on the pounds.

I don't know why I come to this thread, it only makes me angry that I am now paying £1.39 per litre at the cheapest place locally and yesterday it cost me over £100 to fill up my car.  Can I come live in America with one of you guys?  Anyone fancy a 'green card' marriage of convenience?

Well that was fun while it lasted. 3.59 currently. Nothing like a 22 cent jump.

 Yeah, it almost catches you up to Minnesota. We're at $3.63-65ish and on the way down.

 Humph. We're still around $3.79. Evidently it's all Chicago's fault.

 I spotted $3.59 tonight, and courtesy of "we accept competitor's coupons and double them on Tuesdays" I'll be getting 14 cents off of whatever tomorrow's price is. Hooray!
