I figured this was worthy of it's own thread, which I assume will be hijacked in due course. Post your local gas price, and if nothing else this'll be fun to look back at in a few months and say "Wow, $3.50. Those were the days."
I saw a range between $3.54 and $3.69 today. I'm assuming by the end of the week that will be a range of $3.69 to $3.85ish. Summer scares me.
How much is it near you?

yeah, 3.67 around here too. Of course, it will jump shortly due to hurricane season starting, switching blends to a summer blend, strong weather in the midwest, or whatever other shit reason they can think of.
IMO, Shell gas sucks. I will never fill up at a Shell station again, since everytime I do my car engine knocks horribly. That is the only gas that causes that to happen. The gas probably all comes from the same place, so I have no idea what Shell does to it to make it do this.

That's just f*cking wierd! Have you thought about getting it checked out? There isn't a RON difference is there? Has Shell in the US got any fuel additives like the ill-fated "Clean Engine" stuff from years ago? Have you got particularly sensitive injectors? Do you drive anything particularly exotic?
Does someone at the Shell station stick their dick in your gas tank, then get all weird when you catch him in the act?
Down the road from me, it's going for $3.72 cash. The crackhead on the beach near my work is still at $4.29.

Nothing exotic Dalty, a Honda CRV. It hasn't happened every time I fill up at Shell, but I think it has happened twice, so my solution was to avoid Shell if possible. I have never had it happen at another place. I don't even think it was the same station when it happened, so I ruled out the owner of the station.
Quasar, was that wrong? Should I not have done that? I tell you, I gotta plead ignorence on this thing, because if anyone had said anything to me at all when I first started driving that that sort of thing is frowned upon... you know, cause I've filled up at a lot of stations, and I tell you, people do that all the time.
3.57, it's dropping about a nickel a day.
Gonna fill up tonight, even though I have a 3rd of a tank, I figure prices can't stay this low and we've got a holiday weekend coming up.
Yeah, they jacked up prices 15 cents a gallon here, so it went from $3,85 to $3.99 overnight. Happy Memorial Day!

Huh, according to the interwebs it's gone down a little bit today. Plus I'm heading to work tonight, and work gas is 8 cents off per gallon! Hopefully they don't change their mind and raise prices up before I can fill up.

It was $3.46 in Kirkwood, Missouri on Friday. It was at $3.57 at the Shell station on the corner. (That's the same corner Shell station Mal mentions above.)
I pretend like that 9/10 of a penny doesn't exist, even though I know I shouldn't.
